Synopsis

The year is 1927. The loud whistle of the Indian Express arriving chimes as it comes to a full stop at the Amritsar station. We see a group of 25 well-dressed men get off the train and begin to scatter on the platform when alas, a tall, sharp, well dressed, clean shaven, fair man wearing a grey suit, hat and black shiny shoes out from the train. He pulls the hat closer to his face as though he was concealing his identity as his footsteps are shown walking away from the train and onto the platform. (S. Udham Singh was arrested in 30 Aug 1927 for illegal possession of firearms and sentenced to imprisonment. Singh released from prison in 23 Oct 1931. He managed to acquire a passport and made his way to London in 1934 He came back to Punjab from U.S)
Observing the well-dressed men, several coolies run towards them and with the intention of offering their services, somewhat forcefully take passion of their bags, so they may render services to them. As the coolie approaches the tall and fair man and attempts to do the same, the tall man takes out his hand giving a “stopping” gesture as though hinting the coolie to back away and give the firm implication for not wanting the coolie’s services. The coolie backs away and the tall, fair man continues to march forward.
As he reaching closer to the platform exit, h along with the others noticed the British and the Indian forces blocking the gates. The team quickly scattered, and all of them turned their wardrobes, shoes and hat inside out thus transforming themselves to appear as the local villagers and started walking towards the gate. As the men got closer to the gate, one of the men walking alongside of the tall/fair started perspiring and reached in his pocket for a handkerchief and ended up dropping an English coin on the floor; which took the immediate attention of the soldiers. During this point there is tremendous thriller/action (Bond Style) as they all try to escape. We see Udham Singh tipping his cap back into a hat in an angle, smiling as does his team and walking away.
The scene switches where now we are taken on board the Komagata-maru ship as it continues to sail the sea. We see Udham Singh a 15 year old kid, who is working hard on the deck as he is being bossed around by the other ship mates. No one is able to determine nor it is revealed that this is Udham Singh. He has a new name on the ship. We will see the struggles he faces on the ship as well as when the ship reaches Canada and all but about 24 people are denied entrance and stay on the dock for 2 months without food and water until finally they are driven out of Canada and forced to return back to India.
The scene changes and we are back in India, in Amritsar where we see Udham Singh’s childhood and everything that happens to him, his parents and his siblings. We further see him being taken to the orphanage. We also see him volunteering at the “Jallianwala Bagh Massacre” as he is giving water to the people witnessing the massacre that including the murder of innocent kids, women and men. We see the battlefield and hear their cries for help as they are assassinated by the British regimes. He again looks different and goes by a different name here and struggles to survive getting buried under the rain of people that keep falling on him. At last we see the morning dawn as everything comes to a halt in the newly acquired graveyard. The empty sound consumes him as he works his way out.
The scene changes and we are taken to the graveyard where witness the footsteps of a well child walking towards a grave. He is holding flowers in his hand and trembles as one by one he passes each grave until at last he reaches his destination. He stops and turns towards the grave holding his mother’s hand and puts down the flowers as he begins to pray.
The scene changes again, we are back at the train station where Udham singh and team just as they were on the verge of thinking that they had escaped, they are caught off guard when the British forces coming from nowhere and placing handcuffs on him and his team members and taking them to jail. There we see them confiscating the unlicensed revolvers and ammunitions and torturing them inquiring on where they had gotten them from and what their relations were with the Ghadar movement. As he is being tortured…
The scene changes and we are shown everything relating to how Udham Singh met Bhagat Singh. Udham Singh yet again looks completely different and has a different name. We see how they met and how he joined the movement and got involved with the Ghadar movement and sent to England and what he does there and how he meets the 24 people that he brings back to India with him.
The scene changes back, we see Udham Singh getting released from prison and rejoining Bhagat Singh and planning to go back to England where he finds the General, gains his trust and finally assassinating him. As he walks towards the General, the steps and scenes are slowed and we are shown all faces and identities that Udham Singh has taken on throughout his journey until he finally gets close enough to the General and shoots him. For the 1st time the audience will be able to put all the puzzle of all the scenes together and understand that it was Udham Singh all along in all the scenes. We see him happily getting arrested, going to jail and going through his trial and getting hung (When He killed General and took him to the court Jury and Judges offered him If you denied that you didn’t kill General then we will Forgive you and offer him money but S. Udham Singh denied that offer and said “I AM DYING FOR MY COUNTRY I DID IT BECAUSE I HAVE GRUDGE AGAINST HIM HE WANTED TO CRUSH THE SPIRIT OF MY PEOPLE SO I HAVE CRUSHED HIM. FOR 21 YEARS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO WRECK VENGEANCE WHAT GREATER HONOR COULD BE BESTOWED ON ME THAN DEATH FOR THE SAKE OF MY MOTHERLAND).
The scene changing and going back to the graveyard where the kid is done praying and the name on the graveyard is finally exposed as Udham Singh- The greatest fighter that ever lived. We see the kid’s mother wiping his tears and saying where there is injustice there will always be a new hero that will be born. The film concludes by a great and powerful message that tells the audience that even though the country sacrificed a loss of a hero that the next generation hero is born who will stand up and avenge any wrong doings that happen.
??? We have yet to determine what the relationship of that kid will be to Udham Singh and where and how he met his wife. Once determined the scenes will be adjusted accordingly.
(**Every place Udham Singh goes, he has a different look and identity. The audience will not know what is transpiring in the film until the very end when all the characters are shown coming together one by one into one as he is walking towards the General to kill him. The last one will be his current identity and angry look mixed with half face of a hungry tiger who is seeking revenge.
